June 6th, 2024 UPDATE – Save Game now available AS FROM Episode 21 onwards. This is due to a Game change occuring Mid March which “broke” the previous save games. Please make use of savegames from ep21 if you wish!

One minor problem however, is the degree of RANDOMNESS in the game. To begin with, this will be negligible, a few hours, or days, but the further we progress, the more some peoples game will diverge from the tutorial, not to mention of course that not everyone is expected to follow everything to the day!
To help mitigate this, I’ve decided to make available ALL of my save games, so that people (through no fault of their own) willing to follow along, but who’s game decided to do something random that upset things, will still be able to follow without having to restart. Each Savegame filename is named on COMPLETION of the episode, for example: After Ep 7 is the result of having watched & done everything Video part 7.
To use these files, follow the link to download them, put them in your “Documents / Paradox Interactive / Hearts of Iron IV / save game” folder. In there you should see any other save games you have. Feel free to rename any savegame files, or overwrite them as you need. If you want extra help, or to report broken links, do contact me, via youtube comments is best method.
Important! This list of savegames (upto ep 21) NO LONGER WORKS – due to HOI4 March 7th update – Game Version 1.14.1 – However game versions FROM ep 22 forwards DO WORK. If you’re game is looking way off, please download from Ep 22 or newer and all will be well!
Make sure to subscribe & “ring the bell” to be notified on the Games with Brains youtube channel, as soon the new episode drops. Once it does, I will let people know this page has been updated with the new savegames, so that nobody has to play the tutorial over unless they so wish!
